Painting your nails is one of the actions that women repeat the most throughout their lives, especially in adolescence and adulthood. Without being aware of them, on many occasions, we do not let our nails rest. This refers to the time that we have to leave between painted and painted. In other words: we cannot paint our nails every day of the year. When we remove a nail polish, we must leave a few days until we paint them again, so that they can breathe and heal. If this period of time does not elapse then they will turn somewhat yellowish and it is neither healthy nor aesthetic. If this happens we can use lemon juice to whiten them again.
Lemon juice for yellow nails and other remedies
- In addition to abusing nail polishes, there are more reasons why our nails can turn yellowish. Smoking daily or doing risky activities during the day are some more reasons why this phenomenon can occur. To make them white again, lemon juice is ideal. The best thing is that you squeeze a small lemon, add water and mix it in a large and deep container where you can fully insert your nails. Leave them inside for a few minutes and then dry them gently with paper. Repeat the action two or three times a week for about a month.
- We can clean our nails in another way, also using lemon. Cut a slice of lemon and divide it into four parts, take one of the pieces and rub it through your nails, one by one. You must do it gently, but firmly. It is a good idea to pass the lemon through your fingers as well. Take advantage of the pulp, it has many nutrients and will favor cleaning in the same way. Leave it for a few minutes and then rinse with water. Finally, dry yourself carefully and gently.
