Tips for a longer lasting enamel
- Use a transparent base: before applying any polish you will have to use a transparent base coat that will give strength to your nails and prevent the effect of yellow nails. This step will also help the subsequent polish to adhere better to the nail surface and last longer.
- Apply a couple of layers of enamel: the first layer of enamel has to be light as it serves to give color to the base of the nail. Then you have to apply the second layer so that the color already appears more alive and bright. Remember to let it dry for a couple of minutes between coats, so the color will last longer.
- Use a top coat: this product is used to protect the final result of the manicure. When all the nails are painted, a layer of top coat will have to be applied so that the enamel lasts longer and the nails have an extra shine.
- Use gloves for housework: in cleaning tasks you must use these types of gloves so that the manicure does not get damaged and the enamel does not skip. It is also advisable to wear gloves when dealing with aggressive products to avoid damaging your hands.
